In response to changes in the industry requirements for professional training qualifications AIM has constructed a balanced and highly relevant Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The Training and Assessment Package offers many options for professional trainers, assessors and learning designers. AIM’s offering has been designed to take account of the experience and understanding that trainers require to meet the needs of business and vocational training sector requirements.

This qualification will teach participants the basics of workplace training, including the principles and techniques associated with adult learning, the design of learning and training experiences and the planning and delivery of appropriate and valid assessment.

Learning Time Period

This qualification must be completed within 2 years of commencement.

Assessment

Assessment for this qualification includes underpinning knowledge questions, work-based projects and third party reports.

Requirements to receive the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

This qualification requires the successful completion of 14 units of competency. There are no Elective units for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
