Project Management is a mainstay of modern organisations across all industry sectors having evolved from its traditional roots in the construction, IT and heavy engineering industries. Project Management through its association with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards, provides a global framework in which all project managers have a common understanding of the terms used and the methodologies employed. AIM has developed a comprehensive suite of courses at Certificate IV and Diploma level that allows project practitioners to improve their skills and knowledge and gain accreditation in a nationally recognised qualification.

Learning Time Period

The Diploma of Project Management qualification must be completed within two (2) years of commencement.

Assessment

Assessment for this qualification includes underpinning knowledge questions, work-based projects and third party reports.

Requirements to Receive the Diploma of Project Management

This qualification requires the successful completion of the 9 Units of Competency listed below.

There are no Electives for the Diploma of Project Management.

The AIM course Project Management Integration should be completed first.
