Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Upgrade Program TAA40104

In response to changes in industry requirements for professional training qualifications AIM has nationally developed an industry standard Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. However, if a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ98) is already held, AIM has mapped the old and new competencies to offer the Upgrade Program which leads to an assessment against the new qualification structure. This 5 day program exposes participants to the new competency areas and new material not previously covered.

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Upgrade Program is designed for training officers, functional and line managers and those with a training responsibility whom already hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.

Learning Time Period

The Training and Assessment Upgrade to Certificate IV, is a 5 day course completed over 4 months. Participants complete 2 days study in the first month and 1 day of learning in the following 3 months.

Assessment

Assessment for this qualification includes underpinning knowledge questions, work-based projects and third party reports.
