Code of Conduct

Effective from January 2011, the Government operates under one single code of conduct, which supports ethical standards of behaviour and expectations across government. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to embody the ethical standards and understand the positive values underpinning the Qld Public Service.

Who should attend

This program has been adapted from “The Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service 1 January 2011” to provide an overview of The Code of Conduct and is designed for all employees of the Queensland State Public Service.

Learning outcomes

When you have completed the Code of Conduct program you should be able to:

  • Understand the Code of Conduct and its underlying principles
  • Understand how the Code of Conduct applies to your individual roles and duties and behaviour 
  • Identify and act when a potential breach of Code is identified
