Overview
This program covers the development, implementation and evaluation of a risk management plan for the organisation as part of its strategic plan. It incorporates an assessment of potential risks facing the organisation and the development of strategies and plans to mitigate risk situations through elimination, isolation and protection.

- Introduction and overview of risk management as part of the strategic plan for the modern organisation
- Policies and procedures for effective risk management including how to conduct a risk audit, develop a risk register and develop policies, procedures and training for the organisation
- Access external specialist risk management consultants to facilitate the development of the risk management program
- Methods for implementing and monitoring the risk management plan
- Methods for continually evaluating and improving the risk management plan, policies and procedures

- Understand the strategic importance to the organisation of developing a risk management plan which incorporates the policies and procedures for managing risk
- Identify and analyse risk, and select appropriate treatments
- Implement, evaluate and monitor the risk management plan
