AIM Takes Training Gold

The Australian Institute of Management has been recognised nationally for excellence in career development and training. The Institute was awarded the Gold Medal in the recent Human Capital Top 5 Reader Survey.

Human capital Magazine surveyed 85,000 readers in its annual Human Capital/Careers Multilist Candidate Values Survey. Winners of the prestigious Human Capital awards are renowned for being leaders in their field by providing gold standard services and products.

Special mention was made of the Institute’s capacity for constant improvement to management products and services, up-to-date knowledge of industry, and competitive costing. AIM was also commended for its capacity to design solutions tailored to industry, organisational and individual client needs.

Commenting on the award, CEO of AIM Qld & NT, Carolyn Barker AM FAIM said, “To receive such an accolade from the HR Community is high praise indeed and validation of our commitment to providing relevant and contemporary career development and training solutions for individuals and organisations.

“During 2008 and beyond, we look forward to continuing to deliver our strategy of improving the capability of Australian managers through the provision of career development and training aligned with the latest management knowledge and trends,” Ms Barker said.

This award comes at a time when employers are increasingly aware that career development and training are powerful retention tools. In particular, organisations are looking to improve the collective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills of employees.

With a commitment to facilitating management excellence, innovation and organisational effectiveness, AIM offers a full suite of flexible learning options, including open programs, short courses and seminars, post graduate courses, organisational learning, and online learning.
