4 September 2007 The Best in Management Gather in Gladstone
Guests of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM), which organises the Management Excellence Awards, will enjoy drinks, supper and live entertainment at the Gladstone Entertainment Centre. Kimberley Busteed will share her own awards story on the evening, while MCs Clark and Howard will present the prestigious titles of the Gladstone Professional, Owner, Young and Rural / Remote Managers of the Year. AIM CEO (Qld and NT) Carolyn Barker said winners of the awards always give very positive feedback about their experience. “Just being nominated is a real boost for managers as it shows they are respected by their peers and their staff,” Ms Barker said. “To know others see and appreciate the endless hours of commitment is an energising and motivational reward. “To win one of the coveted titles is immensely gratifying not just for the winner but for the whole business and the community.” Winners of the Gladstone awards will go on to compete at the Queensland State Gala Dinner and MEA Final which will be held in Brisbane on Friday 2 November 2007.
