IntakesLectureS (face to face)Classes are held from 6.00pm to 9.00pm weekdays at Management House in Spring Hill, Brisbane, over 12 consecutive weeks. Students are required to undertake approximately 6 to 9 hours of self directed study per week, in addition to face to face class contact. There are three face to face intakes a year - in February, May and September.
Distance MODEThe GSC’s flexible distance learning delivery, or ‘rolling intake’ means learners can commence study at any time during the calendar year. Students learn through self-directed study supported by a dedicated one-one-one lecturer and resources made available by AIM. Students will be required to undertake approximately 10-12 hours of self-directed study per week over a 12 week study period. As facilitated courses, students maintain correspondence with the lecturer on a regular basis, and are introduced to other learners who are undertaking distance studies in the same content area.

intensive mode (also known as executive development series)The GSC offers a range of intensive programs for managers seeking a time effective way to develop deep knowledge and expertise in key management disciplines. Each five day intensive program is presented in a “boardroom style” format with capped numbers to facilitate robust and engaging discussion. The series has attracted participants from a range of industry backgrounds who draw on the perspectives of other participants to develop their own expertise and networks. Each program in the series is led by a subject matter expert who interweaves the latest industry developments with thought provoking research findings and guest speakers to create a practical learning experience. Participants take away tools and techniques that can be applied immediately in the workplace. It can be difficult for busy senior managers to organise time away from the office. However, previous participants have agreed that the format over four consecutive days from Monday to Thursday with a fifth follow up day was worth the investment to top up skills and stay ahead of industry developments. The format also supports the need to stay in touch with the office throughout the week. A unique feature of intensive mode is the option for participants to elect to undertake assessment and gain credit towards a Graduate Certificate Professional Management or Graduate Diploma Management Innovation.
