Graduate Certificate Professional Management

The Graduate Certificate Professional Management has been designed to provide students with a highly practical and involving learning experience which synthesises theory and practice. Designed for aspiring middle to senior managers the Graduate Certificate Professional Management is a practical, action learning based program for professionals seeking to upgrade their skills and knowledge base.

The Graduate Certificate Professional Management provides an ideal opportunity for managers to study in a supported postgraduate level learning environment.

The Graduate Certificate Professional Management consists of four core units. No electives are offered. The four Graduate Certificate units are:

• Managing People
• Managing Finance
• Managing Information
• Managing Marketing

Students may elect to conclude their studies at this point, continue onto a Graduate Diploma Management Innovation or articulate into an MBA program with one of our partner universities.

The Graduate Certificate must be completed within a four year period. We strongly recommend that students begin with the Managing People unit and complete the units in the order listed above where possible.

Graduate Diploma Management Innovation

The Graduate Diploma Management Innovation is a prestigious postgraduate qualification and provides an ideal opportunity for managers to study in a supported postgraduate level learning environment. The Graduate Diploma Management Innovation is an eight unit qualification designed for aspiring and senior managers. It is a practical, action learning based program for professionals seeking to upgrade their skills and knowledge base.

The Graduate Diploma Management Innovation requires completion of the eight AIM Graduate School units. The eight Graduate Diploma units are:

• Managing People
• Managing Finance
• Managing Information
• Managing Marketing
• Managing Innovation
• Managing Strategy
• Managing Operations
• Contemporary Leadership

If students wish to continue study towards an MBA, they may receive credit for certain units from the Graduate Diploma Management Innovation towards MBA programs with AIM's partner universities.

The Graduate Diploma must be completed within a six year period. We strongly recommend that students begin with the Managing People unit and complete the units in the order listed above where possible, completing the Graduate Certificate courses before continuing on to the Graduate Diploma units..

Single Unit

If you are seeking a significant high level skills upgrade but don't wish to enrol in a full qualification, then a single unit of professional development may be most suitable for you. Choose one of our eight units created by managers for managers.

Articulation Pathways

AIM has negotiated articulation arrangements with a selection of highly-regarded universities. Courses from the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma qualifications can be recognised by our partner universities as part of their MBA programs.
