Negotiating Situations 101
Negotiation @ Work

Speaker: Dennis Hall
Location: Brisbane
Date: Wednesday 29 October 2008

Have you ever come away from a conversation at work cursing yourself for agreeing to something that you shouldn't have? Well, chances are, you were just involved in a negotiation and didn't realise it. Most of us experience these sorts of situations every day – as well as others where we know we are in a negotiation but just can't seem to strike the sort of deal we are looking for.

If you have ever found yourself in a negotiating situation and wondered how you could have improved your outcome, then 'Negotiating Situations 101' is for you. You will be able to identify when you are in a negotiation situation, how to identify mutual needs, dealing with tactics, how to say "No" (and not upset people) and how to get what you need, plus a whole host of others.

Join Dennis Hall MBA (Mktg), AAIM, FAIPF where you will be able to examine the negotiation process and come away with some skills that you can start to use the very next day...
