AIM offers a range of coaching and consulting services tailored to the needs of corporate and individual clients. In alignment with our mission of supporting and promoting the profession of management at all levels, our services are focused on coaching individuals for success in an organisational capacity.
As such AIM's coaching focuses on personal and professional development (including strategising and maintainance of work life balance) rather than counseling, lifestyle or small business coaching.

Coaching at AIM
Coaching is a systematic approach to an individual's personal and professional development. It focuses on solutions and results by encouraging participants to learn how to procure new skills, improve existing ones, and become self-correcting. AIM's approach to coaching supports participants to generate new adaptive and successful actions. In contrast to traditional training and feedback, coaching is about lasting self directed behavioural change, transformation and growth. Coaching sessions allow individuals to work one-on-one with a focus on the most important areas for personal development. Coaching sessions will be tailored to suit specific needs and achievement of agreed goals in alignment with organisational goals.
The individual is the 'expert' in their situation, and coaching is about the strategic assessment of that situation, the development of action plans, and the realisation of goals. In short, coaching is about permanent enhancement of performance, not about remedial intervention.
Activate
Strategic & Individual Review and Analysis - Involves a comprehensive needs analysis using a range of analysis tools to determine current strengths and areas for development. This is followed by an in depth consultation with a Career Development Specialist.
Set Strategic Intentions - Uncover strategic intentions and specific outcomes. Timeline and evaluation points are developed and agreed.
Develop Action Plans - Using the diagnostic analysis from the previous step, the coach and individual underpin goal setting via an action plan.
Implement
Coach Enables, Enhances, Encourages & Client Takes Action - Implement goals and action plan.
Monitor
Evaluate - Throughout the program there are inbuilt mechanisms to evaluate progress and modify strategic intentions and desired outcomes where necessary.
Celebrate Success - Formally recognise, celebrate and share success - reinforcing behavioural change and then set new strategic intentions.
Coaching Outcomes
