Geoff Butler AFAIM

Geoff is currently the Training Manager for Institute of Business Management, a venture of the Hayes Knight Group. Hayes Knight is a leading provider of accountancy and business advisory services to the SME market and has member organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand, with affiliations worldwide through its membership of Morison International.

Geoff has a broad range of experience in both public and private sector management and for the past nine years has been directly involved in training, the management of training, and consulting to business clients.

Geoff holds qualifications in training and assessment systems management, business and administration, and is also a member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development. He holds Accredited Practitioner status with the AITD and is also a member of the Australian College of Educators.

Geoff Moller AFAIM

Geoff Moller has over 25 years experience in managing small businesses and completed an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in 2002 whilst managing his own company. Geoff has worked with a number of programs funded by AusIndustry in a business advisory role and more recently as a Senior State Development Officer supporting small to medium enterprises (SME's).

Geoff has represented the University of the Sunshine Coast in inter-university competitions for Strategic Management sponsored by the Boston Consulting Group and marks papers in strategic management for post graduate students from Australia and abroad. He has 18 years experience in the fast paced world of the IT industry and now provides strategic advice in this area. Geoff's passion is for people doing better business and better communication; speaks professionally and advisers a number of business owner-operators in his role as a general business advisor and mentor.

Sharyn Sherrington FAIM

Sharyn has worked in small-medium enterprise, having owned her own office equipment supply company, Modern Office Design & Equipment Pty. Ltd, for 24 years. This has given Sharyn an understanding and knowledge of the challenges and loneliness facing SME owners and managers.

She has worked in the corporate sector for the past six years, having sold her business to Corporate Express Australia Limited in 1997. Sharyn is responsible for 58 team members across a diversified skills base covering customer service, sales, management, procurement and distribution. She believes in accountability and the importance of empowering her team. Sharyn recognises the need for continual improvement and the personal development and training of her team members.

Sharyn believes her own development in leadership and managerial skills has given her a greater appreciation and a desire for the benefits of further personal development. Her special interest focus is customer service and sales development.

Sharyn is a past winner of the NT Business Women's Award and has been actively involved in the Darwin business community. She is a Director of the NT Chamber of Commerce, a member of BPW and an accredited critic in Public Speaking.
